Description
Batman debuted in May 1939 in Detective Comics no. 27 and has since appeared in numerous comic books, comic strips, and graphic novels; on television in a camp live-action series and a critically acclaimed animated program; in electronic games; in brooding, atmospheric films and in collectibles. These Hot Wheels castings were based on the vehicles featured in the original Batman TV series and the Batman movie from 1966. The toys debuted in the 2007 New Models. The original Batmobile and Batcycle were created by the iconic custom carmaker George Barris and the original Batcopter was built by Bell Helicopter Textron.
